About this role 

We are seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to strategize, architect and manage the infrastructure that powers our marketing efforts. In collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer and other business leaders, the Director of Marketing Operations will drive business growth through business analytics, streamline operational efficiency, and implement industry leading marketing technology solutions that will bolster the global marketing team’s efficacy and ensure the integration of technology stack across different regions, functions, and tools.You will ensure that no lead is left behind and that every buyer and customer interaction is tracked and optimized. As a strategic partner to marketing, sales, and Go to Market Strategy and Operations (GTMSO), you will shape how we scale our processes and technologies to support our growth trajectory.

What you'll be doing Lead inbound pipeline generation strategy for Udemy Business to drive demand and growth. Own and maintain the marketing database, ensuring data quality, proper processes for import, hygiene, segmentation, and utilization. Identify inefficiencies in workflows, implementing streamlined solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and data integrity. Configure, integrate, and optimize the marketing tech stack, focusing on Marketo, Salesforce, and related technologies. Ensure the marketing automation infrastructure supports effective data collection, tracking, and usage across campaigns and lead management systems. Develop and manage the marketing forecast model, providing accurate projections for lead generation, pipeline contributions, and revenue impact while aligning with company goals. Drive closed-loop reporting from lead to revenue, offering actionable insights on campaign ROI, attribution, and channel performance. Build and refine dashboards and analytics frameworks to support demand generation and data-driven marketing strategies. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Product, IT, and Revenue Operations, to align workflows and ensure seamless integration. Manage a global team and collaborate across marketing, sales, product, and GTMSO to achieve shared business objectives. What you’ll have 8+ years in marketing operations, with demonstrated success in building and managing lead/contact lifecycle models, data integrity initiatives, and technology integrations. 5+ years of experience with Marketo (or similar marketing automation platforms) and Salesforce CRM. Strong knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email privacy laws as they relate to B2B email promotions. Fluent in demand generation, funnel metrics, and marketing performance optimization. Deep understanding of database structure, data hygiene practices, and analytics. Proven ability to design and implement scalable processes, tools, and reporting frameworks. Independent, motivated, and excited to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insight About your skills Marketing Technology Expertise: Proficiency in configuring, integrating, and optimizing tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and related marketing technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven campaigns. Data Analysis and Insights: Expertise in designing dashboards, tracking performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights on ROI and channel performance, backed by a deep understanding of database structures and data hygiene. Operational Process Optimization: Skill in identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing scalable, automated processes while creating forecasting models that align marketing operations with broader company objectives. Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead global teams, collaborate across departments, and communicate complex concepts clearly to align strategies and achieve shared goals.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits, equity and a bonus. Hiring Compensation Range$165,000—$250,000 USD
