Director, Medicare Sales - Asian Market
Description and Requirements The Director, Medicare Sales - Asian Market is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies that support lead generation and, sales and retention goals for the Medicare division. The director is responsible for staffing, planning, goal setting, training and management of the Medicare sales team within our service area. Must be extremely skilled in building relationships, have superior communication skills, be a strategic thinker and be driven to meet or exceed sales goals. Direct all prospect and sales activities for Medicare products for a specified geographic area.Develop and Implementing strategies and policies relating to Medicare sales and service.Ensure interpersonal effectiveness among individuals both within Healthfirst and outside the organization.Develop various Sales and Marketing strategies and policies which support the corporate and departmental goalsDevelop, monitor and coach Sales Managers while Sales Mangers achieve overall performance. Must provide diligent supervision on Sales Managers ability to handle all aspects of their responsibility from sales management to standard operating procedures.Coach, mentor, and develop staff; oversee new employee onboarding and provide career development planning and opportunities for growthDevelop and maintain a functional relationship with assigned key accounts. Provide reports and keep accounts abreast of membership data, benefit changes, and overall corporate initiatives. Work with internal partners to resolve any outstanding issues.Ensure sales staff maintains compliance with all CMS /corporate policies and regulations. Work in concert with other internal departments to ensure compliance with standardized corporate procedures. Must ensure staff cooperates with any on-going training sessions or audits that must take place.Recruit, hire and train high performing employees.Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionActive NYS Health & Accident Insurance licenseDemonstrated experience in planning, organizing and execution of work deliverables.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time, and commitment to developing quality work quicklyStrong problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and critically in developing solutions to complex problems.Strong change leadership skills coupled with exceptional relationship building and influencing abilityStrategic thinking and creativity and flexibility in addressing future challenges in alignment with Healthfirst’s long term growth and profitability goalsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with varying levels within the organizationMaster’s/PhD OR a Professional degree MBA/MD/JD

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
