SALARY: $151,200-$179,550 bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

Join Anheuser-Busch’s internal Mergers & Acquisitions and strategy team that helps to shape the future of our product portfolio in the US. The Corporate M&A Director will lead all aspects of the mergers and acquisitions process, from identifying potential opportunities to closing deals. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and financial skills.


JOB RESPONSIBILTIES: 

Develop and execute M&A strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.Identify and evaluate potential acquisition, investment, and divestiture opportunities.Build and maintain a strong network of investment bankers, advisors, and industry contacts to source deals.Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations, tax, etc.).Evaluate business opportunities through comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessments.Develop investment cases, including synergy identification and integration planning.Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations, tax, etc.).Evaluate business opportunities through comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessments.Develop investment cases, including synergy identification and integration planning.

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

Consistent track record of demonstrating strong project management capabilities, adeptly coordinating multidimensional tasks across departments, and delivering results that exceed expectationsDetail-oriented and analyticalIndustry-standard valuation methodologies for privately-held businessesStrong knowledge of Excel and financial modelingStrong knowledge of the application of finance and accounting concept

PEOPLE SKILLS:

Self-starter with a proven ability to leverage networks and past experiences to creatively solve complex problems and navigate new situations with confidence and resourcefulnessProficient in fostering effective communication with external partners and business principalsAbility to conduct diligence meetings with internal and external partiesAbility to communicate finance concepts effectively with non-financial peers/managers and with our independent wholesalersJOB QUALIFICATIONS: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, market dynamics, and legal considerations.Strategic mindset with the ability to assess both qualitative and quantitative factors.Excellent project management and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field required; MBA with finance concentration strongly preferredFive or more years of analytical work experience and at least 3 years Investment Banking, Public Accounting, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Finance/Planning/Development
