Job Description Summary:

We are seeking for a QSE Director who will provide leadership, direction, and management of the Quality, Safety and Environmental functions. Develop and drive the implementation of key programs and plans to achieve BP goals and to improve continuously Plant´s performance in the QSE areas. This will include Regulatory & Legal compliance, assistance with Formula administration and BOM Structure Design Process, Packaging, Ingredients, and Finished Goods testing and release, Quality Systems implementation. Assure QA Compliance to TCCC policies, procedures, practices and norms. Promote and lead the digital transformation process for the Laboratory, ensuring implementation and adoption of different tools such as LIMS and others.

What You’ll Do for Us

Responsible for assuring effective implementation of Integrated Management System under KORE Standards and International standards ( ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, ISO 50001 ), AWS and local standards applicable to the Operation

Lead, Manage and Develop areas of Quality Laboratory, Management Systems, Regulatory, SRA, Formula Technical and Environment & Occupational Health and Safety.

Strategy and direction: As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, contribute to the overall strategic planning and day-to-day management of the operation leading to the development of a World Class Manufacturing Operation and the QSE Culture with all the areas & sites.

Safety: BBS, Life Saving Rules and other local programs in full compliance to meet our Zero is Possible goal.

Process Quality and Quality Systems: Ensure that Food Safety, Quality, Safety and Environmental Systems are in place and in full compliance with Company, Regulatory and religious requirements, whenever required. This includes the management of the Wastewater Treatment operations and monitoring, responsibility for Safety and Waste Management contracts and wastes disposition (recycling or external treatment whenever applicable) and driving initiatives to track and monitor Process Performance (e.g. SPC/CpK).

Quality Control laboratory: Ensure QSE Laboratories have the proper conditions (physical, equipment and resources) to analyze and correctly dispose Raw Materials, Packaging, intermediate materials and Finish Product to meet Company, legal and Business Requirements.

Regulatory and formula technical compliance: Ensure that Formula and Technical Master Data Management, together with Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Management, meet Company and Business Requirements, including labelling, trade secret protection and any applicable required documentation.

People capability: Responsible for the development, supervision, counselling and coaching of direct reports and extended teams using a variety of methods including Performance Enablement, Career Planning and Development.

QSE Technical Capability: Ensure that the Quality, Safety and Environment Function has the capability and expertise to deliver the required business support.

Process validation: Ensure all equipment and process in place are correctly validating and/or validated whenever is applicable according with its fit for purpose and in compliance with applicable regulation and TCCC requirements.

Budget management: Manage the Budget, identify cost effective strategies and drive Value Creation and Lean Initiatives.

Global interaction: Work with Global CPS QSE and TI&SC Corporate Management to develop, interpret, and apply Food Safety and Quality plus Safety and Environmental Policies.

Technical networking: Develop and maintain a strong technical network with key Company and business stakeholders, such as: Customers, Regions, Operating Units and Group Technical Departments, GD&I to assure the effective implementation of CPS QSE initiatives.

Performance and continuous improvement: Ensure deployment, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the key business metrics; Lead the management review process with plant leadership team fostering the continuous improvement of our processes.

IMCR & Risk Management: Ensure the plant key personnel is well trained and capable to manage any potential crisis or any emergency response.

Qualification and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related disciplines.

Good knowledge of food safety and relationship with all Quality activities across the supply chain.

English (advanced level).

Experience in a manufacturing setting in Food Industry or Pharmaceutical Field and/or direct quality management experience including a senior role for a plant facility and/or direct management of environmental and safety activities.
