Ideal candidate will have an understanding of Open Source technology and sales as well as database technology (MySQL or other relational databases), as well as a background managing and leading pre-sales teams. 

This position will involve regular meetings with regional and global leaders in English (sometimes during US hours) as well as travel throughout Japan to visit customers and team members as appropriate. 

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.
