Director, Network Integration (Chief of Staff)

The Director, Network Integration, you will serve as a crucial strategic partner to the Chief Network Officer, playing a key role in aligning and optimizing operations across the Network Organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective managerial structures, strategic initiatives, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, overseeing operational performance, establishing efficient meeting cadences, and developing impactful presentations for executive leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Excellence, Strategic Planning & Development:  

Designs and implements a clear managerial structure for the Network Organization, defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines to optimize workflow and accountability. Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards strategic goals and identify areas for improvement. Collaborates cross-functionally with Network teams (Specialty Care, Complex Nursing Care, etc.) and other internal departments (e.g., Finance, IT, HR) to drive alignment and achieve strategic objectives. Develops and manages a comprehensive meeting cadence, including daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and monthly leadership reviews, ensuring clear agendas, actionable outcomes, and effective follow-up. Facilitates and leads meetings with Network teams and other stakeholders, ensuring productive discussions, clear decision-making, and effective communication of key information. Establishes organizational structure and operational frameworks for Network departments, defining processes, workflows, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assists in developing and manages the network budget, including forecasting, and resource allocation. 

Executive Support & Communication:  

Develops and delivers high-quality presentations for board meetings and other executive-level communications, effectively conveying key performance indicators, strategic updates, and recommendations. Proactively identifies and analyzes gaps in deliverables, network goals, and cross-functional collaboration, recommending and implementing solutions to address these gaps. Acts as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief Network Officer, providing insights, recommendations, and support on key initiatives and strategic priorities. Monitors and tracks progress towards network goals and objectives, providing regular updates to the CNO and other stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong strategic and analytics background with outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to own and execute against multiple workstreams simultaneously.Advanced level of business acuityExpert knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques, and methodsAbility to work across multiple workstreamsAbility to perform detailed cost analysisAbility to develop detailed business casesAbility to drive projects to successful educationAbility to effectively collaborate and interface with Executive-level leadership to deliver desired business outcomes.Capable leader who engages, motivates, challenges, develops and holds others accountableHighly organized with strong initiative and superior work ethicPossesses a sense of urgency and independent actionExpert skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the positionAbility and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 30% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as neededSpoken and written fluency in EnglishThis job requires use and exercise of independent judgmentEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:BA/BS degree or MBA (preferred) in Healthcare Administration,  Management or Economics OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basisA minimum of 7 years in professional work experience and staff management requiredA minimum of 3 years of managing, directing, and monitoring the performance of a team of direct reports at a director level or above highly desiredHealthcare leadership, with a focus on network development, Value Based Contracting, Specialty pharmacy management Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid experienceExperience analyzing performance data, assessing program strengths and weaknesses, conducting root cause analysis, and developing corrective action plans.
