The Director Network & Voice Services will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of all network and voice infrastructures, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our environment, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, cloud infrastructure, and other network related equipment. The role will be both strategic in nature as engineering-focused on short/mid-term projects, while working with different technology teams to deliver core business initiatives. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with accuracy and to meet demanding deadlines, possessing strong ethics, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Administer and maintain environments to industry best practice with focus on security and availability.
Your Impact:
Manage a team of network and voice engineers ensuring accountability of required deliverables to the business.Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network and voice infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, and security.Ensure that our network and voice systems are aligned with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Establish and maintain policies and procedures for network and voice system management, including monitoring, reporting, upgrading and problem resolution.Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure seamless integration of network and voice systems with other enterprise systems.Manage audio video technologies in offices and associated integrations with services such as Microsoft Teams.Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan for network and voice services to ensure business continuity.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and cost-effective solutions. This includes carriers, Telecom Expense Management, resellers and product vendors.Ensure that network and voice service incidents are promptly resolved and provide excellent customer service to our users, with an appropriate sense of urgency.Monitor network and voice system performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.Participate as a primary stakeholder for Change Approvals.Deliver services to the Technology Integration Group to ensure seamless infrastructure integration of acquisitions from M&A business activities.Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends related to network and voice services and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.Develop processes in all areas of Network & Telecom Service management ensuring efficient delivery, accountability of responsible services.Prepare and present reports on network and voice services, capacity utilization and team performance to senior management.Successful Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in managing network and voice services in a complex environment.Must have proven experience in leading and managing a team of network and voice engineers.Must have experience and deep knowledge of Fortinet product offerings.Must have proven experience in developing and managing Azure network infrastructure and support of virtual appliances.Proven experience implementing and supporting SASE type solutions.Proven experience implementing integrated voice cloud services.Proven experience with CCaaS solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network and voice issues.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.Experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Requests, and asset tracking is a plus.Experience with RingCentral solutions is a plus.Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to network and voice services, such as PCI, HIPAA, and SOX.Certifications such as NSE (Fortinet), CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, or ITIL are a plus.Deep knowledge of network and voice technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, SDN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, SIP, BGP, SASE, and PSTN Able to manage, mentor and ensure team members are accountable for their deliverablesSolid customer service skills, including active listening, patience, and concern for client issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of end-user documentation, training materials and presentationsAbility to translate technical material and information to non-technical users.Strong critical thinking skills.Self-motivated with ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly. At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $150,000.00 - $180,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
