Job Description

Role Overview: The Director, Non-Card Product Management will be responsible for defining and executing Visa’s roadmap for non-card-based payment capabilities, working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, product marketing, and regional GTM teams. This candidate will drive initiatives that expand Visa’s network penetration across Real-Time Payments (RTP), wallets, and Account-to-Account (A2A) transactions, ensuring Visa remains a trusted and dominant player in digital payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for non-card digital payments, ensuring alignment with Visa’s global objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, risk, compliance, and operations, to develop and launch scalable solutions.

Work closely with regional Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders to tailor product offerings to different markets, ensuring global adoption and competitiveness.

Define and implement commercial models that drive adoption of Visa’s non-card payment solutions.

Develop key metrics and track the performance of non-card digital payment solutions, ensuring continuous improvement.

Engage with external partners, including banks, fintechs, and merchants, to integrate and scale Visa’s non-card payment solutions.

Advocate for Visa’s role in emerging payment ecosystems, influencing industry standards and regulatory discussions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/
MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years
of work experience with a PhD
•7+ years of experience in product management, GTM, or technology, with a
focus on digital payments and emerging financial ecosystems.
•Strong understanding of real-time payments (RTP), wallets, account-based
payments, and alternative payment methods.
•Experience working in a global, highly matrixed organizations, and managing
cross-functional teams.
•Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive adoption
and revenue growth.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability
to influence across levels.
•Bachelor's degree required. Master's in business or science preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178,400.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
