Director, Outpatient Services

Our new center offers comprehensive breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of helping people get well and live healthier lives.** Position's Purpose and Essential Functions: The Director of Outpatient Diagnostic Services is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational direction of diagnostic imaging and laboratory services at Laredo Medical Center’s outpatient locations. This includes mammography, CT, radiology, MRI, lab, EKG, and other related services. The Director ensures optimal departmental performance by focusing on staff development, budgeting, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. This role is essential in coordinating with local and corporate leadership to meet patient care and business objectives. The Director is expected to lead staff engagement, financial oversight, and program development and maintain high patient care, safety, and service delivery standards. The Director also ensures compliance with all relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements, working closely with the Director of Imaging Services, Laboratory Services, and Patient Access to implement policies and initiatives promoting growth, patient safety, and operational excellence. Applicants Job Requirements Include: **_Education_** + Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field. + Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. **_Experience_** + Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in outpatient healthcare. + Proven track record in managing multi-site operations, budgets, and financial analysis in a healthcare setting. + Experience in strategic planning, staff development, and regulatory compliance in diagnostic imaging services. **_Licenses/Certificates_** + No required licenses or certifications, though relevant certifications in healthcare management are a plus.
