Come make a difference in a company that is changing the world. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Director for Regional (NA) Ecosystem Sales to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the North America (NA) distribution team. You’ll leverage both our global and North American ecosystem strategies as you build plans for deeper engagement with distributors in order to grow net new business and develop partner-led routes to market. You’ll need to have a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with our direct sales teams, product teams and route to market leaders. You will need to think strategically and analytically about product, technology, and business challenges with the ability to deliver and carry out joint go-to-market plans that meaningfully accelerate Red Hat's vision and sales pipeline. As a Director, you will lead the NA distribution team and be accountable for talent retention, development, and productivity. This role can be located in any major NA city. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do:
Lead and manage multiple business development initiatives that are consistent with the Red Hat's overall strategy Lead our distributor practice team and work closely with their partners; initiate joint account planning and sales implementation with the Red Hat Field Sales team Develop and execute distribution growth strategy that incorporates other OEM/ISV, Cloud, and industry focused teamsWork in collaboration with Red Hat’s Global Distribution team as well as Global and North America route to market leaders Manage contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as requiredEnsure that month and quarter end opportunities are closed timely and effectivelyWhat you bring:
5+ years of experience leading high performing Sales and Channel teams10+ years of relevant sales and business development experience with reseller/distribution partners7+ years of working knowledge and experience with cloud software or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendors and their business models Executive presence and communication skills Willingness to travel up to 50%Extensive experience developing and managing partnerships for the purpose of market seeding and revenue generationExperience marketing or selling offerings or services in a rapidly evolving, high-growth environment Solid people skills with persuasive personal presence and presentation Proven record of successfully exceeding targets and winning over the competition Solid desire to succeed The salary range for this position is $258,130.00 - $438,710.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
