Director, Partnership Marketing

As the Director of Partnership Marketing, you will play an important role in this mission by defining our strategy for how we go to market with other marquee brands in the US, and then by leading those co-marketing efforts. This will be about deeply strategic and integrated partnerships, often featuring unique product value propositions. You’ll build win-win relationships with partner marketing teams and design joint marketing plans that inspire engagement with millions of consumers.  

 

What you’ll do: 

Define the role that partnerships play in our Santander US integrated marketing strategy. 

Partner with internal leads to win new strategic partner deals. This will include proactively pursuing new opportunities and strategically assessing incoming partner marketing opportunities.  

Build relationships with strategic partner marketing teams, orienting the collective group towards shared goals and a win-win mindset.  

Develop co-marketing plans with our strategic partners that deliver on our shared goals and activate consumers through our differentiated joint value propositions.  

Execute our co-marketing strategy in conjunction with the wider Santander US marketing team, with an emphasis on striking the right balance in leveraging Santander and partner channels. Corralling the internal and external teams together towards our shared vision & roadmap  

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. (Required)Master's degree in marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. (Prefrerred)


Work Experience:

Marketing experience or related field. 12+ years (Required)Financial Services/Banking Industry experience, 3+ years (Required)

 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

10+ years of experience in partnership marketing, business development or related field 

5+ years of experience in people leadership, preferably with experience leading teams 

Experience building relationships and developing successful strategic partnerships at a Fortune 500 company scale 

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to connect the dots and tell a story based on data while also expertly tailoring communication to audiences across functions and levels  

Decisive problem-solving and ability to rally a team towards achieving shared goals. 

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive execution with limited oversight  

Master's degree a plus

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$123,750.00 USD

Maximum:

$200,000.00 USD
