Director, Patient Access
**Overview** St. Luke’s Clinic is seeking a Director of Patient Access to lead, optimize, and transform patient access operations across our **ambulatory** teams. This pivotal role is responsible for supporting strategy, and leading the execution and continuous improvement of our patient access functions, including registration, referral management, scheduling, and insurance verification processes. **What You Can Expect:** + Lead & Execute Strategy – Develop and implement best practices to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. + Operational Leadership – Oversee daily patient access functions, ensuring seamless registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes. + Technology & Innovation – Maximize the use of Epic, MyChart, and other digital tools to drive automation and improve the patient experience. + Process Improvement – Modernize and streamline scheduling models aligned to policies and best practices. + Collaboration & Leadership – Partner with clinical and operational teams revenue cycle, and shared service partners, to ensure alignment and improve patient and staff experience and improve front-end revenue cycle outcomes. + Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success, analyze trends, and implement data-driven improvements. + Talent Development – Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree + 8 years' relevant experience **What We’re Looking For:** + Extensive experience in patient access leadership and front-end revenue cycle operations. + Proven ability to lead strategic execution, change management, and process optimization. + Strong expertise in Epic, MyChart, and healthcare technology-driven improvements. + Experience managing large teams and leading operational restructuring initiatives. + Ability to identify barriers, craft solutions, and drive sustainable performance improvements. **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
