Director, Patient Experience Communications
Site Name: USA - Pennsylvania - Philadelphia, Durham Blackwell Street Posted Date: Jan 17 2025 The Patient Experience Communications Director plays a key role in leading awareness and communications of GSK patient services. This position will set the communications strategy of the newly created Patient Experience Communications team, and drive patient support awareness efforts for the enterprise in the US. This individual will leverage a deep and broad understanding of the Patient Experience, Patient and HCP friction points and cross-functional business knowledge to eliminate silos and enable holistic patient support programs. The position will require outstanding leadership in many areas, notably including matrix coordination and partnership with brand and field teams. Responsibilities include: Develop a center of excellence for gathering Voice of Patient and Px KPI’s to keep pulse of patient and HCP needs after the decision to prescribe is made. Develop the strategy, hierarchy frameworks and communications for patient enrollment (Patient Support, Copay) Lead brand coordination of Patient Support communications to Patients and HCPs Partner with brands to drive awareness to Field teams and change management Shape internal communications and lead agency to develop an internal awareness driving excitement of GSK patient support evolution Oversee compliant material development, with navigation through appropriate review processes Influence high-performing team by holding members accountable for their performance, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, ensuring team members have the necessary resources and support to succeed. Effectively partner with cross-functional teams, including Core Marketing teams, Patient Experience Strategy, Market Access, Tech, Legal and Compliance to enable best-in-class communications with a strong patient focus. Basic Qualifications: BS/BA, preferably in Business/Marketing or Health Sciences related field 4+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or patient support communications Preferred Qualifications: Preferred pharmaceutical marketing experience (i.e., brand marketing, market access, market research and/or marketing operations) Project management experience with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Experience working in a matrix environment and with all levels of the organization Experience with patient support programs, and/or copay/patient assistance reimbursement Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships Demonstrated leadership, proven decision-making, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skills Experience managing external agencies #LI-GSK Please visit GSK US Benefits Summary to learn more about the comprehensive benefits program GSK offers US employees.
