Director, Pfizer Brand Operations (PfizerForAll)

ROLE SUMMARY

The Brand Strategy and Campaigns team at Pfizer is responsible for driving the enterprise brand strategy and launching compelling corporate campaigns. The Director, Pfizer Brand Operations (PfizerForAll) will play a critical role in driving operational excellence for key Pfizer Brand campaigns and initiatives.

This role requires a candidate who can effectively translate vision and strategy into fully integrated plans and operational processes. They will be responsible for resource mapping and ensuring stellar execution of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver exceptional results, possess a deep understanding of marketing principles, and have strong communication skills.

Navigating a large, cross-matrixed organization requires nuance, and the Director must be adept at working collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve objectives. They will be able to identify problems and enact solutions quickly, ensuring smooth operations and successful campaign execution.

The Director, Pfizer Brand Operations will have the opportunity to drive operational excellence and contribute to the success of key Pfizer Brand campaigns and initiatives. Their role will be instrumental in translating strategy into action and ensuring that campaigns are executed flawlessly, ultimately driving brand awareness and business results.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop executive briefings, playbooks and operational plans for large-scale Pfizer Brand initiatives and/or campaignsDrive internal communications cadences and plans, working with Corporate Affairs and stakeholders; build coalition and camaraderie across integrated project teamsPartner closely with subject matter experts, CMO and Business team members, regulatory, legal and more to execute deliverables and ensure on-time activationsProactively identify opportunities and challenges, with the goal of increased efficiency and performance Assess the resource requirements for successful campaign execution. Allocate resources appropriately, including personnel, budget, and tools, to ensure the achievement of campaign objectives.Oversee agencies and partners to deliver on time and against budgets; manage regular finance and status reportingOversee 1-2 project managers (indirect reports)Run effective and engaging team meetings, demonstrating ability to communicate across all levels at Pfizer Ensure operational excellence in key Pfizer Brand campaigns and initiatives by developing and implementing streamlined processes and strategies to enhance campaign executionEffectively translate the brand vision and strategy into fully integrated plans and operational processes. Align campaign objectives with overall brand goals and ensure consistency with the brand strategy.Identify and address problems or challenges that may arise during campaign execution. Make informed decisions and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations and successful campaign outcomes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for advanced degree  10+ years of experience in marketing, operations and/or marketing operations; or operations /project management at an award-winning agencyPreference for experience across industries; strong knowledge of or experience in marketing within the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry is a plusDemonstrated ability to develop comprehensive project plans that ensure all performance goals are achievedMastery of organizational and support tools, such as Microsoft suite, Smartsheet, and othersStrong executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization  Exceptional collaboration skills – can skillfully coordinate and problem solve across cross-functional teams and foster highly productive cross-functional relationships Thrives in a high energy environment and works effectively in unchartered territory. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
