Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Power BI Lead Developer cum Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Power BI architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization and will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of developers. This role requires a strong leader who can translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure the delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports. Responsibilities: + Lead the design and development of complex Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet business requirements and are visually appealing and user-friendly. + Architect and implement robust data models, including semantic modeling and data transformation using Power Query (M) and DAX. + Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance, including query optimization, data caching, and report rendering. + Develop and implement best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and maintenance. + Mentor and guide junior Power BI developers, providing technical expertise and support. + Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends. + Manage the Power BI environment, including security, access control, and deployment. + Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality. + Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI related issues. + Contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization. + [Optional: Include specific project or domain experience, e.g., Experience with financial reporting, sales analytics, etc.] Required Skills: + 12+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting. + 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development, including DAX, M, data modeling, and visualization. + Strong in SQL + Deep understanding of Power BI architecture, including gateways, datasets, and workspaces. + Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI dashboards. + Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. + Excellent SQL skills. + Experience with data integration and ETL processes. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
