Director, Practice Lead - NetSuite

AST is proud to be an Oracle NetSuite partner, offering NetSuite Cloud ERP implementation services.  Currently, we are looking for a NetSuite Practice Leader. As a pivotal figure within our organization, you will be responsible for all aspects of the NetSuite business including the strategic direction and growth of the business, GTM, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction. This role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in delivering growth, managing large teams, cultivating client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions for our diverse client base. 

This is a full-time/permanent position that can sit anywhere in the United States with travel to client site when needed.


What You’ll Do:

Practice Development and Thought Leadership:

Drive the strategic direction and growth of the NetSuite consulting business, including service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and talent development initiatives. Manage overall NetSuite P&L performance. Engage in thought leadership activities such as publishing articles, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry forums. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within practice, leveraging feedback, metrics, and industry benchmarks to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Leadership and Team Management:

Provide visionary leadership to a team of NetSuite consultants, solution architects, and project managers. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the consulting team. Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, consulting capabilities, and client engagement acumen.

 Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business challenges and strategic objectives. Lead pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our services. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling NetSuite services.

Project Delivery and Execution:

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of NetSuite consulting engagements, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards. Drive project planning, resource allocation, and risk management efforts to achieve successful project outcomes. Act as an escalation point for project issues and conflicts, providing guidance and resolution strategies as needed. Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and profitability to optimize project performance and margins.

Solution Development and Innovation:

Lead the development and enhancement of NetSuite solutions and methodologies to meet evolving client needs and industry trends. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and market trends in NetSuite and financial management. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to leverage expertise and resources for solution innovation and differentiation.


What We’re Looking For: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in NetSuite, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a consulting firm. Previous experience leading global teams of at least 10 within the HR hierarchy. Extensive experience in managing large-scale NetSuite implementations. Experience with NetSuite SaaS financials implementations with an emphasis on functional accounting principles Strong understanding of consulting methodologies, project management practices, and delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Proven track record of building and leading high-performing consulting teams, driving business growth, and achieving revenue targets. Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and external clients.
