THE ROLE   

Are you looking for your next opportunity? Legends will be overseeing several new projects in the East, West, and Central regions and we are looking for leaders who will be responsible for leading a premium sales team including leading revenue generation, building the team, operations, and managing partner relationships.

The Director will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that maximizes revenue for all suite and premium products with a Legends partner. This position will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising and motivating a best-in-industry suite and premium sales staff. The ideal candidate should have multiple years of first-hand premium sales and management experience. They should be comfortable analyzing sales performance metrics, identifying top business leads, managing B2B sales programs and utilizing all information available to forecast and drive decision making. The Executive Director should be comfortable speaking in public, a proven team leader, and have the ability to create and manage a positive and dynamic staff culture. Experience managing high-value inventory, managing B2B relationships and interacting with community business organizations will be critical to success in this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Be accountable for annual revenue goals, pipeline management and forecasting Recruit, interview, hire, train and develop Suite Sales & Service team Create and implement regular training initiatives to increase sales rep productivity and elevate overall sales team performance. Analyze historical and current sales data and performance metrics to determine future calling campaigns and new lead sources for the sales team. Work to create dashboards and virtual CRM reports to manage and track campaign performance and sales rep productivity. Participate in planning meetings to discuss cross departmental revenue opportunities and collaborate with other team members to support and further the sales department goals. Assist in creating marketing campaigns, inventory management, and lead generation strategies Assist in the creation and management of the suite sales budget and business plan. Responsible for daily revenue tracking, campaign management and the regular communication of sales team performance to the Legends team. Manage inter-organizational relationships to support sharing of best practices, close collaboration and integration between internal, external and vendor stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Minimum of 3+ years of successful sales management experience (sports business a plus) 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably selling premium inventory Experience in designing, selling and executing premium event hospitality Skilled analyzing data, developing concise recommendations and presenting to executive leadership Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to develop strong working relationships with partners, teammates, and other stakeholders Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and desire to grow professionally Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment COMPENSATION
