Mastercard is a leader in developing and delivering cutting edge technologies and innovation in Security, enhancing commerce to be safe, seamless and convenient. Mastercard’s Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) business offers a range of security capabilities including trusted identity, AI based decisioning, cybersecurity and tools to enhance customer experience (by reducing disputes/ chargebacks). The Director of Product Management plays an integral part in developing and launching solutions to secure digital commerce and deliver peace of mind to consumers, confidence to businesses and collaborate with government.
•\tThe successful candidate will be passionate about cutting edge technologies and deploying innovative digital security solutions to protect Mastercard’s customers and partners;
•\tYou will have a proven track record of growing the business and managing strategic initiatives;
•\tYou will have experience applying new technologies to resolve customer pain points;
•\tYou will work with Mastercard’s customers and internal stakeholders, to ensure flawless execution and successful deployment of cyber security and fraud solutions in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Core Responsibilities of the Role:
•\tDevelop a deep understanding of the market landscape and payments ecosystem (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment) within Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands;
•\tDevelop product knowledge/ subject matter expertise and articulate the benefits of Mastercard’s Security Solutions;
•\tLead the development of product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market strategies for products in your portfolio clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis;
•\tDrive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level. Monitor product adoption and performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle.
•\tGather customer feedback and develop recommendations to launch new product propositions, new product features/ enhancements, to support customer needs across the Australia/ NZ and the Pacific Islands;
•\tPartner with business development and account management teams to commercialise solutions and support customer priorities in fraud mitigation and cybersecurity;
•\tEnable internal sales & customer facing teams with product collateral, case studies, product pricing and other data points to support business development;
•\tCreate a culture that fosters innovation, idea generation and continuous improvement for Mastercard’s security capabilities;
•\tCollaborate with regional/ global security solutions product teams and other Mastercard product teams (eg. Digital) in the product development process;
•\tPartner with Customer Delivery (and other support teams, GCC, CTS, Biz Ops) to ensure that products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience after the solution is implemented;
•\tLeverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges, creating proactive plans to drive usage and revenues.
•\tProvide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and partners to grow individual functional skills, experience and leadership capabilities
•\tDemonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences

All About You:
•\tProduct management and product development experience in the payments, risk management or consulting industries;
•\tStrategic thinker, intellectually curious and has a proven track record of launching new solutions, developing go to market strategies, growing revenue and market share;
•\tValues a great team culture built on mutual respect, trust and authenticity; fosters collaboration within the team and with external and internal stakeholders;
•\tExceptional communication and networking skills and confident in developing and nurturing external relationships (including customers, partners, regulators and government agencies) and building strong internal partnerships;

•\tInfluencing skills and ability to garner the support of internal stakeholders;

•\tOperates with a sense of urgency; responsive to requests (from internal and external stakeholders);
•\tBachelor’s degree required. Post-graduate qualifications desirable.
