At Danfoss, we are looking for a Director, Product Line Controller to join our Industrial Refrigeration Team in the Division Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC).

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the business leader, translating complex financial data into strategic insights that drive short- and long-term growth. Your expertise will shape key decisions across the business, enabling performance improvement and helping us achieve our sustainability goals.

You will be empowered to use your financial acumen and communication skills to address business challenges and influence a global team, creating measurable impact and ensuring the financial health of our product lines.

Job Responsibilities

As Director, Product Line Controller, your primary responsibility will be to provide clear, actionable financial insights that guide strategic decision-making and drive sustainable growth.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, predictability, and stability across product lines and factories. This includes identifying opportunities for operational improvement and long-term profitability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic planning and financial guidance: Partner with business leaders to create long-term plans, ensuring alignment with market trends and strategic goals. Financial reporting: Deliver clear and tailored financial reports to the leadership team, helping them make informed decisions based on accurate and relevant data. Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and identifying risks and opportunities. Performance monitoring: Oversee key financial metrics such as revenue, inventories, and cash flow, collaborating with teams globally to drive sustainable performance. Background & Skills

To thrive in this role, you will bring a solid background in finance, with a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additionally, you bring:

A demonstrable record of success working with financial planning, analysis, or controlling, preferably within complex product environments. High expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Experience with SAP, BW, HFM, and Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Power BI for reporting and analysis.


On a personal note, you are an excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of engaging with stakeholders across diverse cultural and organizational boundaries. Your ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations will be crucial in guiding business decisions and driving performance across global teams in a fast-paced environment.
