The Director, Product - Lyft Media will be instrumental in leading and executing the product vision and strategy for our burgeoning Lyft Media business. Reporting to the VP of Technology for Media & Lyft Business, you will lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data analysts, and designers. Your leadership will drive the creation of a cutting-edge ads platform that seamlessly integrates with our mobility services, connecting drivers, riders, and brands in innovative and impactful ways. **Responsibilities** + **Product Vision and Leadership** : Articulate a compelling product vision for Lyft’s nascent Media business that aligns with Lyft's mission and leverages adtech innovation, measurement and compelling ad product to enhance user engagement and monetization opportunities. + **Strategic Planning and Execution:** Develop and implement a strategic roadmap that incorporates ad network dynamics, platform capabilities, and data-driven experimentation. Champion product innovation across Lyft Media's owned and operated channels, tech stack, and off-network audience extensions. + **Technology Development and Innovation:** Spearhead the development of advanced advertising technologies, ensuring the creation of scalable platforms that meet the evolving needs of advertisers and enterprise clients. + **Team Leadership and Development** : Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Drive cross-functional initiatives to design, analyze, and test new strategies that enhance engagement for riders and drivers at scale. Inspire alignment towards company goals and prioritize efforts to achieve shared results. + **Resource and Program Management:** Oversee resource allocation across multiple product lines and ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects. + **Compliance and Privacy:** Ensure all technologies and practices adhere to relevant regulations and privacy standards. + **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Leverage data analytics to assess the effectiveness of technologies and campaigns, continuously optimizing for improved performance and ROI. + **Market Insight and Innovation:** Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to maintain Lyft's position at the forefront of adtech innovation. + **Customer and Field time:** Accompany salespeople on key sales calls and participate in customer events and forums. **Experience** + Demonstrated experience in leading product development within the adtech space, with a focus on building and scaling successful products and services from inception. + Proven track record of owning a multi-product platform across diverse ecosystems and leading transformations from legacy systems to scalable solutions. + Expertise in the AdTech/programmatic ecosystem, with extensive knowledge of its functions and the ability to drive innovation within this space. + Strong technical acumen and the ability to effectively drive the roadmap for a large team of product managers, data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional partners. + Strategic thinker with the ability to craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that galvanizes the team and business. + Strong business judgment, data-savvy, and highly analytical, with an understanding of the impact of business decisions on the P&L. + Experience with geo-location advertising technologies is a strong plus. + Consistent track record of linking product development opportunities to broader business and operational goals, managing complex projects, and navigating conflicting prioritization and resourcing demands. + Capable of driving cross functional projects and enrolling the appropriate leaders across the organization to achieve for Lyft’s full ecosystem of partners, riders, drivers, advertisers. **Benefits** + Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled + Mental health benefits + Family building benefits + Child care and pet benefits + 401(k) plan to help save for your future + In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off + 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid_ _The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area is $230K-$275K. In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible for competitive equity awards, bonuses, and benefits.
