We are launching an exciting new product Specto and seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead its development. You’ll work with a dynamic team of 2-4 cross-functional members to bring this innovative product to life and scale it for success. You will report to the VP of Product Management discovery. We would love to speak with you if you have a passion for creating great products and the ability to understand customers' needs.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or commensurate industry experience
10+ years of product management experience preferably in SaaS or Digital
2+years managing a team
It would be great if you also had . . .
Professional experience in a library setting.
MBA.
What will you be doing in this role?
Leadership and People management
Support the product leadership to envision future versions of the product organization
Communicate clearly and effectively, in writing or when presenting, to large and internal and external high-stakes audiences, including segment leadership
Effectively influence the priorities of other teams
Responsible for hiring, retention, and improving the strength and capability of the product management team with each hire
Business Strategy
Understand and investigate the commercial levers that affect your area of responsibility
Define metrics for your group/teams to ensure business impact
Product Strategy
Create/clarify product strategy within ambiguous areas with limited guidance
Create relationships and trust with a broad range of senior stakeholders across the business (PMs, managers, and cross-functional leaders)
Execution & Impact
Determine priorities when there are competing strategic asks

Featuring an intuitive end-user interface, Specto provides seamless access to resources, enabling researchers, students, and educators to interact directly with digital collections. Its advanced features, including automated metadata generation, intelligent categorization, and predictive analytics, simplify the organization and discovery of vast collections. AI-driven search capabilities deliver precise, user-friendly resource discovery, while machine learning algorithms continuously optimize workflows and system efficiency. With seamless integration into existing library systems, Specto transforms digital collection management into a streamlined, intelligent, and accessible experience for all.
About the Team
Our team of Product Managers and Product Owners is at the heart of driving innovation and delivering exceptional solutions. They work collaboratively to define the product vision, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals. Acting as a bridge between cross-functional teams, they work closely with development teams to translate ideas into actionable requirements and guide the product development lifecycle. Simultaneously, they collaborate with marketing and sales teams to position the product effectively, communicate its value, and support go-to-market strategies. Together, this team ensures that customer needs are met, technical feasibility is maintained, and market opportunities are maximized, delivering impactful and successful products.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.
