Title and Summary

Director, Product Management

The NAM Transfer Solutions Team is responsible for igniting momentum for Mastercard Account to Account (A2A) Strategy in the US, including C2B (bill pay) and B2B payments flows. Our aim is to (1) accelerate revenue, (2) drive growth in A2A flows for Mastercard and (3) establish our brand as a one-stop shop for AP and AR modernization and innovation.
In this role, you will develop product strategy, generate GTM plans and execute BD/sales functions. Key activities include the development and execution of product strategy, develop and execute sales strategy to sign the most significant partner opportunities, including proposal development, negotiation of business and financial terms and closing of deals.

Role
- Develop and execute A2A product strategy in the US, including C2B (bill pay) and B2B flows
- Colloborate with cross functional partners to execute product strategy (SMB team, Corporate Payment team, Healthcare team, Global Product)
- Develop GTM plan for A2A strategy
- Works independently and with the leaders of customer account management teams, where applicable, in the qualification, prioritization and advancement of pipeline and cross-sell opportunities
- Consults with clients/prospects to assess complexity and highest value business opportunities
- Completes diagnosis of client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, customer collaboration, research, tools development and business case modeling
- Advances multiple negotiations in parallel, from pre-proposal stages through implementation.
- Liaises with partners, account teams and product development teams to share voice-of-customer feedback on required/desired functionality for NAM customers.

- Experience in product/Technical sales for a complex payments product or service
- Experience in retail banking, payments and/or billing; or selling to those segments
- Prior experience with retail banks, treasury management organizations, Fintechs
- Familiarity with AP and AR processes a plus

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
