Position Summary:
The Vice President, Product Management for the Blazemeter Team at Perforce is searching for a Director, Product Management to join the team. The Director of Product Management for a leading DevOps software company will be responsible for overseeing the entire product management lifecycle of the leading SaaS Automated Software Testing. This includes defining the product strategy, working closely with engineering teams, customer success, sales, and marketing to ensure the development of high-quality products that meet market needs and drive company growth. We are looking for a strategic leader who will oversee product roadmaps, ensure strong alignment between teams, and drive the evolution of our product portfolio to stay ahead of the competition in the fast-paced DevOps space.

Product Strategy and Vision:Define and drive the product vision and strategy for our Continuous Testing solution. Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, aligned with company goals, user needs, and industry trends.Lead market and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, gaps in the current product offerings, and emerging opportunities.Partner with executive leadership to ensure alignment between business objectives and product development.
Leadership and Team Management:Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.Establish clear goals and KPIs for the product management team, ensuring accountability and alignment to business outcomes.Work closely with the engineering, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure effective product launches and customer satisfaction.
Product Development Lifecycle:Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that each phase of development is executed efficiently, on time, and within scope.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.Drive Agile product development practices, ensuring that sprints are well-defined, priorities are clear, and products are shipped on schedule.Work with UX/UI teams to ensure the product's user interface is intuitive, efficient, and meets customer expectations.
Customer and Market Engagement:Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders, including customers, prospects, and industry analysts.Work directly with sales and customer success teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and their issues are addressed promptly.Lead product demos, presentations, and training sessions for customers, prospects, and internal teams.Develop and refine pricing strategies, business models, and go-to-market approaches to maximize product adoption.
Innovation and Thought Leadership:Stay up-to-date with industry trends in AI, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud computing, containerization, automation, and software testing to ensure our products remain at the cutting edge.Drive the development of new product ideas, innovative features, and integration opportunities with other platforms and services.Represent the company at conferences, forums, and events to position our products as leaders in the DevOps space.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the DevOps, cloud, or software development space.Proven track record of delivering complex SaaS products or enterprise software solutions, from concept to launch.Extensive experience in managing and growing product teams, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.Strong background in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working closely with engineering teams.Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Strong technical acumen, with the ability to collaborate with engineering teams on architectural and technical discussions.Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Expertise in product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!) and familiarity with CI/CD tools and platforms.Strong customer-centric mindset with an ability to understand market needs and translate them into actionable product solutions.
