Title and Summary
Director, Product Management - Credit RiskOverviewAs a Product Manager in the Data & Services Credit Risk Analytics team, you will have the responsibility for building and scaling credit risk products, defining product level strategies, being a communications champion internally and externally to build awareness and excitement. Additionally, partner with product leaders and key internal stakeholders to deliver profitable solutions based on customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends. In this role, the product manager will over oversee product evolution, establish a go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L
Responsibilities
• Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level and optimizing product performance
• Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap for the Products they manage, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Leverage the Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products
• Drive a user-centric culture of data driven, test and learn experimentation, continuously assessing and enhancing the Product user experience. Partner with Delivery and Servicing teams (GCC, CTS, Biz Ops) to ensure that Products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation
• Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning Product strategies
• Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities
• Drive the delivery of key product enhancements and partner with Guild members to deliver (e.g. CX&D, Product Management – Technical)
• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and manage any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget in partnership with the Product Management-Technical Guild.
• Leverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges, creating proactive plans to drive usage and revenues. Use data-driven analysis to prioritize resources to deliver against the plan
• Ensure that the broader Mastercard organization is enabled to sell focus Products by creating compelling communications & marketing content in partnership with Marketing
• Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Product Management-Technical, CX&D) in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives
• Advocate for taking an agile approach to product development through all activities from defining an epic to writing acceptance criteria on a user story.
• Work closely with the Business Development teams to refine and act on GTM approach through maintaining and driving products sales pipeline
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, recognitions, coaching, and employee engagement.
Experiences
• Experience in Product Management or new product development
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
• Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test and learn methodologies across teams
• Extensive experience building and launching products
• Knowledge of Credit Risk trends and topics is a plus
• Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization
• Experience translating strategies into product launches and implementation plans in multiple markets
• Successful track record strategically managing P&L for multiple Mastercard projects and products
• Action oriented & hands on: Owns outcomes & deliverables
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
