Director, Product Management - MarTech Platform

The Director of Digital Product Management is an executive role responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with business goals. This position oversees select product teams supporting the BBW Digital Platform and leads strategic product development, roadmaps, portfolio governance, and capacity planning. The Director combines business leadership with technology acumen, driving influence across all organizational levels to ensure effective execution.

This Director will lead our Marketing Technology Platform (MarTech) initiatives focusing on aligning MarTech solutions with organizational goals, evolving the platform, and driving the adoption of new capabilities to deliver data-driven, personalized marketing experiences at scale. The Director will be instrumental in developing strategies that ensure measurable business impact and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Oversee comprehensive product management for customer-facing and back-office platform components, in alignment with Bath & Body Works' strategic goals and lean agile principles. Develop the MarTech platform vision, benchmarks, and goals in partnership with Senior Leadership, aligning them with omnichannel needs and business objectives. Lead the MarTech transformation to enable data-driven, personalized experiences that deliver high-value customer interactions at scale. Collaborate with UX, technology leadership, and business stakeholders to rapidly evolve platform capabilities, enhancing both operational efficiency and the customer experience across all digital properties. Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to executive management around MarTech best practices, emphasizing industry trends and their impact on business outcomes. Develop executive-level briefing materials and associated analytics to guide program and product decision-making, focusing on long-term strategic goals. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that could impair the organization’s ability to meet its financial, operational, and technical objectives. Foster a culture of shared accountability for outcomes, encouraging collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Development, QA, Architecture, UI/UX, and business partners. Mentor internal teams and external partners, sharing best practices and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and evolving MarTech solutions.
MarTech Platform Execution: Build and deliver a comprehensive product roadmap ensuring the timely delivery of key initiatives and the continuous improvement of processes. Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of MarTech solutions, ensuring Agile planning, retrospectives, and learnings are effectively integrated into future project cycles. Oversee end-to-end product management, from planning through execution, resolving issues proactively and driving the adoption of new and emerging technologies. Empower teams and leaders to drive positive change, fostering a culture of initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure analytics are leveraged to drive product optimization and measure progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), aligning with the overall strategic vision. Identify and manage external vendor relationships to maximize platform capabilities and support business goals. Recruit, train, and manage Product Owners and Analysts, ensuring platform standards are implemented and maintained. Ensure platform components, including site features, are operational and meet defined service levels, maintaining stability and operational integrity through team-based on-call rotations and defect triage processes.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience; with an increasing scope of responsibility in product operations, agile product management, or a related function5+ years of Marketing Technology Transformation and Delivery experience 5+ years effectively leading teams or directly managing associates; including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing priorities Proven experience with Real-time Customer Data Platforms (Tealium, Adobe Experience Platform), Marketing orchestration tools (Adobe Journey Orchestration, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), measurement tools, and other MarTech solutions. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Technology, Business, or a related field.
