Director, Product Manager - Consumer Paid

As a Product Manager at Equifax, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond. Your primary focus will be on understanding market trends, consumer needs, and regulatory requirements to define and execute a product strategy that drives growth and profitability. This role is the Product Manager for the consumer paid product portfolio (myEquifax) with a focus on our Lead Generation marketplaces. It includes, monitoring and maintaining current products/features, in addition to new product introductions; providing portfolio and product analysis, including digital and lead generation products. 

What you’ll do

Product Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders - Marketing, Technology, software engineers to define and execute the product roadmap that aligns with the company's overall vision and objectives.

Consumer Focus: Use research and customer support teams to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and address user issues.

Project Management: Oversee the product development process, set priorities, and manage resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.

Product Development: Translate product concepts into clear requirements for Technical Product Management and Development teams.

Product Launch: Work with Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, launch plans.

Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze product performance to drive continuous improvement and iterate on product features.

What experience you need

5+ years of product management or technical product management experience.

Proficiency in performing customer discovery, including customer interviews, analyzing customer data and identifying patterns or trends to inform migration plans.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience working with engineering teams to implement solutions and address technical challenges.

Experience with simplifying complex user journeys into delightful user experiences in a D2C environment

What could set you apart

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline 

Ability to navigate through ambiguity and change in a collaborative and agile environment

Excellent relationship and influence management skills and can communicate with product, marketing and technology partners effectively (written and verbal)

Ability to advocate effectively for stakeholder interests and to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent judgment, critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
