Job Description

Position Summary

Visa Direct is the money movement platform that enables financial institutions and businesses alike to move money around the world, effortlessly and securely. Visa Direct already has over 2,500 programs live across more than 195 countries and 160 currencies to help transform the future of money movement.

These solutions enable consumer and business applications including person-to-person (P2P) transfers, business to consumer (B2C) and business to business and small business (B2B and B2b) payouts and government to consumer (G2C) disbursements. The market opportunity is estimated to over 200 Trillion dollars of payment volume. Large innovative companies already utilize the Visa network to enable money movement such as Revolut, Wise, Square, Stripe, Airbnb, Facebook, PayPal and hundreds more.

The Product Marketing team is a vital part of a larger Marketing team, playing a critical role in growing the business, responsible for delivering segment and capability specific GTM strategy, research, thought leadership content, targeting, and support in overall strategic campaign planning.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, Product Marketing and Customer Growth, you will have leadership and hands-on-experience in product marketing, managing a team of 7 to help deliver and drive strategy with direct impact on sales and revenue success. You will partner with Sales Enablement, Insights, Product, Integrated Marketing, Sales, and Regional Marketing Teams to help take our Product Marketing to the next level, ensuring we are targeting client segments with the most effective value prop messaging, content and engagement at the right time across the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Structure and drive the global product marketing strategy, working with the wider team, product leaders and agency partners to support a roadmap of research, targeting, sales toolkits and thought leadership

Perform a strategic role within the overall operating model, with product marketing developing strategies and content used across the entire customer lifecycle

Focus on people management, with development and support of clear roles and responsibilities across the product marketing team – leading, coaching and inspiring the team and agencies covering the complete suite of segments and capabilities.

Oversee, and via the team execute, a data-driven product marketing strategy to help improve the success of our solutions in the market. Work with sales, product and marketing leaders to create appropriate GTM strategies for our products and core verticals, helping create demand and improve retention. Guide positioning and messaging development by understanding the market and challenges key audiences face moving money cross-borders.

Manage a healthy budget and deliver on core KPIs.

Develop research plans to uncover customer insights that help steer and validate the product roadmap. Working closely with product and marketing teams to brief them with the user insights, value props and messaging in order to successfully execute go-to-market campaigns.

Product champion working closely with key stakeholders to continue to understand the strategic direction of our business and influence both the product roadmap and product propositions globally. Help deliver commercial product launch plans, research and content to successfully bring innovation to the market.

Lead an internal team, and agencies who support content creation, with a focus on developing truly market leading though leadership to use across campaigns.

Stakeholder Management, influence and work alongside the leadership team to gain buy in and alignment for new product strategy working cross-functionally and collaboratively to define and develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for our products and services.

Measure success of the strategies with a constant feedback loop between the wider team, global and regional sales, and regional partners

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
