Identify new product/market opportunities by deeply understanding customer pain points, needs and motivations as well as the competitive landscape i.e. through a mix of primary and secondary research Define product and service concepts including features, workflows to get customer feedback and iterate to define an MVP Work with product and business leaders to develop a business case for the product Work with product leaders to define early product roadmap for testing product market fit Work with designers to define product mockups, concepts to test with customers to get product feedback Facilitate and influence decision making on scaling the product The Team You'll Work With

You’ll be joining our Strategy & Business Operations. The Strategy & Business Operations team partners with Carta’s c-suite to drive Carta’s strategy, identify opportunities for organic and inorganic  growth and investment, and drive innovation and best-in-class execution across teams to accelerate our path to $1bn+ in annual revenue.

About You

We're seeking someone who has:

A learning mindset; Carta sits at the intersection of software, private markets, public markets and other capital markets players - we learn new things every day 10 - 12 years of experience in product management, product strategy specifically working on B2B software products focused in the financial services industry (e.g, banking, private equity, venture capital) Proven track record of identifying and evaluating product opportunities in a fast paced environment and motivated to work collaboratively Comfortable with surfacing data driven insights Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $232,000 - $290,000  in San Francisco and New York. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
