Job Description

Role Overview

Lead the global production flow of over 500 highly regulated Allergy assays in Uppsala as the Director, Production Solid Phase at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

This role is fully based from our Uppsala, Sweden Site

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the entire production process for Allergy assays, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to global regulations.Lead and manage a world-class team to successfully implement production strategies and meet ambitious manufacturing goals.Determine and drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and quality.Collaborate strictly with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of production processes.Monitor and analyze production data to compete in the global market and maintain high standards of performance.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Outstanding knowledge of chemical and biochemical production processes.Strong ability to manage and encourage a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record of implementing successful production strategies.Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve flawless production outcomes.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
