We’re looking for a Director of Professional Services Business Development to join Procore’s Professional Services team. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for scoping solutions, managing RFP responses, and driving value consulting initiatives. Your primary goal is to align business development efforts with organizational objectives to ensure the success of Procore’s Professional Services offerings.
As a Director, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and product teams, to enhance processes and deliver measurable results. Use your leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to inspire a team that supports enterprise and public sector growth.
This role will report to the Senior Director, Professional Services Solutions and Operations, and can be based out of any of our US office locations or remotely in the US. We're looking for someone to join us immediately!
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage teams across Professional Services Pre-Sales, RFP Response, and Value Consulting to drive business development and customer success.Develop and implement strategies to grow Professional Services revenue and align solutions with Procore’s overall business goals.Ensure the RFP Response and Value Consulting teams effectively support all areas of the business, delivering high-quality, competitive, and compliant proposals.Provide oversight for the Professional Services Pre-Sales function, ensuring accurate, high-value service scopes and proposals.Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure scoped solutions meet client needs.Establish and refine scalable processes, tools, and templates to enhance operational efficiency and improve client satisfaction.Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts and identify areas for improvement.Stay informed about industry trends and competitive positioning to evolve Procore’s Professional Services strategies.What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and driving growth in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.Strong understanding of Professional Services pre-sales, RFP processes, and value consulting methodologies.Experience managing international teams or projects, with a focus on navigating diverse markets and customer needs.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to assess business opportunities and make data-informed decisions.Familiarity with enterprise and public sector markets is a strong plus.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferredAdditional InformationBase Pay Range $169,823 - $233,506 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $242,604 - $333,580. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
