Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for a Director of Finance for the Defense and Commercial Space Launch Services (DC SLS) Division within the Space Propulsion and Power Systems (SPPS) Sector under the Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) Segment. Reporting to the SPPS CFO, this role is an integral member of the Division Senior Leadership team and is accountable for all aspects of financial performance. This includes: on time and accurate submission of financial deliverables (internal and external), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), earned value reporting and compliance, rates and budgets, leading the Division Annual Operating Plan and the Joint Strategic Plan financial processes, partnering with the General Manager to develop and execute the Division near term and long term strategy, developing business cases to support investment requests, and managing various company investments.

This role is based in our West Palm Beach location and reports directly to the SPPS CFO.

Essential Functions:

Oversee program finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and rates & budgets for the division and the West Palm Beach site.Responsible for the financial performance for at least one wholly owned subsidiaryLead and develop the finance team to ensure cross functional effectiveness.Ensure Division adherence to financial policies, practices and proceduresProvide financial leadership to foster and drive business success.Assess business risk and develop and execute business-wide growth and improvement plans.Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management and subordinates including executive level presentations and briefings. Lead, evaluate, integrate and support change management and process improvements.Develop financial performance reporting to support business decision making.Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure organizational success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
