Provide visionary leadership to project teams across North America, driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.Develop and implement strategies to enhance project delivery performance, ensure profitability, and meet client objectives.Program and Project Oversight:
Evaluate potential new projects, evaluate risk, collaborate with appropriate business lines to determine best approach, and participate in the GO/No Go decision making. High level oversight of the RFP process guiding Capture Managers in team selection, research development and proposal writing.Oversee the successful execution of transit and rail programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.Serve as an executive sponsor for key projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.Identify and mitigate project risks while fostering a proactive problem-solving environment.Team Development:
Build and mentor high-performing project delivery teams by identifying and cultivating top talent across the organization.Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within teams to enhance innovation and decision-making.Foster an environment of continuous learning through training, feedback, and professional development opportunities.Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain and expand strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for transit and rail agencies across North America.Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and events to elevate brand recognition and market positioning.
Operational Excellence:
Collaborate with project managers and financial teams to ensure project profitability and operational efficiency.Drive adoption of best practices and technology solutions to improve project outcomes.Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including project utilization, revenue, and backlog.Education | Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, transportation, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).• 15+ years of experience in transit and rail program/project delivery, with a strong focus on managing large, multidisciplinary teams.• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, multi-million-dollar transportation projects.• Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.• Exceptional client relationship management skills and a strong network within the transit and rail industry.• Expertise in alternative project delivery methods, such as design-build, P3, and progressive design-build, is highly desirable.• Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent are a plus.What We Offer:• A dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.• Competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.• Flexible work arrangements and a commitment to work-life balance.• The chance to lead impactful projects that shape the future of transit and rail.
