As leader of Program Management Office (PMO) you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and governance of all projects and programs within our organization for the Retail and Value Added Services Portfolio. You will play a critical role in aligning our projects with our strategic objectives, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. 

This role will help regional and product business leaders make informed decisions about which investments to pursue, continue, modify, or terminate based on their alignment with the organization’s overall strategy, risk considerations, resource availability, and expected value. It involves assessing the performance, cost, and risks associated with each component of the portfolio, as well as considering factors like business value, return on investment, and potential synergies among different projects. You will be managing a global team of Project and Program Managers ensuring their projects are successfully delivered on time and on budget.  

Role Responsibilities

Initiate and set team and program goals according to the organization's strategic objectives.  Partner with product and technology leadership, executive management, and others across the organization to ensure successful delivery of the projects within the responsible portfolio(s).   Plan and Drive PI planning events setting realistic expectations of the deliverables.   Responsible for the successful management, coordination and delivery of assigned projects on time and on-budget as agreed upon.    Perform periodic project reviews of the team identifying risks and Issues proactively with mitigation plans and proper communication.  Ensure Project change management processes are applied at the individual project and entire portfolio level as applicable by securing approvals as necessary.  Be the thought leader in driving process improvements, identify improvement opportunities with solutions and be the change agent.  May manage projects while mentoring and developing staff.    Provide executive status updates at C-Level with crisp and clear communication  Manages both exempt and non-exempt staff.   Makes complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgement.    

Role Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, plus 15+ years progressive management experience, including large-scale project management and personnel management.  Three (3) or more years of experience working directly with senior leaders in managing multiple, large cross-functional teams or projects, influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.  Certification PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, and SAFe will be a plus  Expertise in resource management including capacity planning and allocation  Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics  Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting  Excellent written and oral communication skills   Excellent organizational and leadership skills  An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities  Experience in analyzing data and using this data for process and program improvements and to inform strategy.  Outstanding facilitation and communication skills, including ability to inspire others.  Ability to communicate effectively at a technical or non-technical level, depending on the audience.  Superior leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, including the ability to lead a high-performing team.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all different levels in the organization.  Self-starter/leader who can anticipate department needs in a proactive (versus, reactive) manner.  Strategic planning and organizational development knowledge and skills.   Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals, establish priorities, and organize resources.  Ability to motivate and influence others.  Ability to interpret, adapt and occasionally deviate from established practices and procedures for new situations and problems.  Proficiency of Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides.  *Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Salary 

The on-target earnings range is $196,000 – $266,000 USD per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align, with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
