Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Director, Public Relations to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Leads strategic external communications that are consistent with the organization’s mission, vision and goals and enhances the system’s visibility and reputation within the communities it serves. Key responsibilities include media and public relations, crisis communications, executive communications, content development and coordination of PR in Baptist Health’s nine markets in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Bachelor’s degree in ​journalism, public relations, communications or related field

Seven years' experience

Healthcare communications experience

Corporate, agency or hospital experience

Experience managing professional staff

Experience with using a media monitoring system, both to collect media mentions and analyze trends, but to send news releases and media advisories is desirable but not required.

While the job is remote based, candidate will be based in Louisville, KY
