The Team:

As a Director of Software Engineering (Chapter Leader), you will lead the technical team to develop user experiences and the underlying platforms to support our customer experience. You will provide the technology know-how, leadership and influencing skills to drive overall technology strategy, digital transformation, thought leadership and talent development across the squads. You will provide technical guidance on lead initiatives that supply ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, understand new technologies and industry trends, and continue to learn while maintaining a strong focus on providing coaching, mentorship and driving talent development across our engineering teams.  

The Expertise You Have: 12+ years leading, mentoring, and developing people and robust teams. 10+ years leading building of sophisticated digital technology solutions. 8+ years working in an agile delivery environment with software engineers Aspiration and skill to drive technology strategy for the platform Authenticity and commitment to coach engineers across various levels Craft a process for skills progression, influencing careers, and build leadership skills Proven expertise with cross-functional collaboration to achieve the best results. At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we’re calling “Dynamic Working”. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity work location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks. These requirements are subject to change.
