*What you’ll do:*
As a*Director, Quality Management (PRN)*, you will be responsible for the operational oversight and direction of assigned LifePoint hospitals/markets and associated quality and clinical operations. The Interim Quality Director works in collaboration with the HSC Regulatory and Accreditation Services, and facility leadership, focused on implementing strategy and initiatives for continued existing Quality Program and develop new programs to respond to the changes in regulation, best practices and meet the demands of Healthcare Reform, Value Based Purchasing and other payment programs.

*Responsibilities:*
* Responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) in Patient Safety, Quality Improvement and Management and Survey Readiness for regulatory and accreditation and providing leadership to facilities.
* Plan, support and promote the Quality Management Program at facilities consistent with Company Mission, Vision, and Values.
* Provide support to facilities regarding regulatory, accreditation, quality of care, and patient safety.
* Assume primary responsibility for assimilating, identifying, and disseminating best demonstrated practices across the Company to support key strategic focus areas.
* Collect and interpret data, define issues/problems, and draw valid conclusions.
* Contributes to the development of organizational policies, procedures, business operations, and regulatory requirements related to the Quality Program; this includes but is not limited to TJC, regulatory requirements defined by the state, CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services ) and other organizations.
* Content expert and troubleshoots Quality related issues; as requested serves as the Quality expert with the TJC, Risk, Legal, Audit and Corporate Compliance groups.
* Oversight of the regulatory functions across the organization.
* Supervisors the day-to-day operations of the Quality Program and contributes to workflow analysis and redesign.
* Understands the aspects of the quality program and assists as requested in the training, education, technical assessment of abstraction guidelines/definitions and analytic support for key outcomes.
* Coordinate and communicate with other leaders to within the facilities.
*What you’ll need:*
* *Education:*Bachelor degree in healthcare, Nursing or a relevant clinical discipline required, with evidence of additional training in PI and Quality;Master's degree preferred CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or similar certification in quality, preferred
* *Experience:*Minimum of 5 years in quality director role or similar healthcare setting, with specific leadership experience.
* *Licenses:*Appropriately licensed based on discipline.
