The Director, Rehabilitation Operations & Strategy is accountable for evolving WelbeHealth’s operational infrastructure to standardize and optimize physical and occupational therapy (PT/OT) operations across all markets. This role partners closely with PACE program operations and Medical Practice teams to improve participant outcomes, advance care delivery, and guide the rehabilitation team’s success.

Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and direction for all PT/OT services across WelbeHealth, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency Develop and implement a rehabilitation strategic roadmap with appropriate stakeholder buy-in and cross-functional collaboration Lead the design and implementation of standardized workflows, clinical protocols, tools, and SOPs to strengthen rehabilitation services Collaborate with medical leadership to integrate PT/OT into participant care planning and optimize interdisciplinary team workflows Partner with Quality and Analytics teams to monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and efficiency metrics, using data to drive improvements in both participant care and team performance Represent WelbeHealth in national forums and partnerships, promoting the role of PT/OT in enabling seniors to remain independent and thrive Mentor and coach PT/OT leaders across markets to promote consistency and excellence in service delivery, as well as partner with the Training & Adoption team to deliver education for PT/OT providers to maintain clinical excellence and complianceJob requirements include:
Doctorate or master’s degree in physical or occupational therapy required PT or OT license required Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in rehabilitation services, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role Proven experience with program development, process improvement, and quality improvement initiatives Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire clinical teams Consistent track record of driving initiatives that improve operations effectiveness and patient experience using data to influence strategy Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends, and overtimeWe are seeking a Director, Rehabilitation Operations & Strategy that ideally has PACE, geriatrics, long-term care, or community-based care experience.
