Director, Relationship Management
Overview About Us: Cambridge Investment Research Inc., one of the nation’s top independent financial solutions firm, is actively looking for a person who has a passion for providing white glove service to financial professionals to join the Marketing Department as a full time Director in the Relationship Management Department. The Director works under the direction of Business Strategy leadership and functions as an individual contributor that proactively manages and oversees relationships of top financial professionals. Job Summary: The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key personnel designated by Senior Leadership. This role will focus on enhancing client satisfaction through proactive engagement, problem resolution, and strategic alignment of cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will act as a client advocate, ensuring their needs are met while also aligning with the company's revenue and profitability targets. Essential Duties Relationship Development: Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with key personnel identified by Senior Leadership. Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Client Experience Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver actionable plans that address areas of client dissatisfaction. Implement strategies to create an exceptional client experience and foster long-term loyalty. Problem Resolution: Oversee and manage the problem resolution process for challenging situations that may escalate to Senior Leadership. Identify opportunities for mutually beneficial solutions, enhancing client satisfaction and retention. Advocacy and Interface: Interface professionally and courteously with both internal teams and external clients, acting as an advocate for the client. Collaborate with various departments to achieve performance objectives and enhance service delivery. Client Understanding and Communication: Document and maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s strategic business direction and objectives. Ensure that relevant information is communicated to all necessary parties within the organization. Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s revenue and profitability targets, as well as firm-level goals. Stay informed on key industry topics, internal programs, departmental procedures, regulatory requirements, and firm policies to ensure alignment with client needs. 25% travel is required. Education & Experience Four or more years of related experience, education and/or training Certificates & Licenses Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 required. Compensation: $80,000-$100,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
