Director, SAI Platform Management
Job Description:

The Role

The Director of Platform Management will work closely with the Strategic Advisers Portfolio Engineering, Product, Operations, Data and Technology teams supporting and leading a range of projects with diverse scope and complexity. In this dynamic role, this individual will help grow and scale our model management platform within Strategic Advisers.

To be successful, candidates must have an ability to articulate business requirements, analyze and review systems architectural design, track all aspects of a multi-month initiative and communicate effectively with many levels across Strategic Advisers and our channel partners in Fidelity Wealth, WI and FI.

Primary Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and act as an advocate for Strategic AdvisersCollaborate with technology partners and key stakeholders to define the infrastructure vision, roadmap, and prioritization needs across Strategic AdvisersOwn and drive key initiatives from business requirements, systems analysis, architectural design, development, testing and implementationBe a driver for change and innovation in product and systems design sessions; challenge the status quoEnsure Strategic Advisers operational readiness, coordinate cross-project activities and provide support related to processes and infrastructureParticipate as a subject matter expert in product launches and represent Strategic Advisers needs in cross-channel initiatives

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

10+ years working experienceBachelor’s degree requiredBroad-based Fidelity experience; experience with systems development projects, business analysis and systems analysisExperience with model portfolio and/or managed accounts infrastructureWork across organizational boundaries and effectively collaborate to achieve business results in a complex and fast paced environmentRobust data querying skills using SQL and experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BIProficient with Microsoft Office suite; ability to produce executive-level PowerPoint presentationsStrong project management skills; experience managing complex projects with multiple business partnersHistory of successfully leading key initiatives to completion; translating strategies into specific goals, action plans and deliverablesA leader with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to understand complex systems and business requirementsAbility to identify key risks and bring them to resolutionDemonstrate a proactive approach to growing your skills and building your product knowledgeIdentify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation efforts as appropriateStrong team orientation; commitment to excellence; attention to detail; self-driven
