Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Drivers License Sales leader who will be a dynamic, growth oriented team leader that is able to combine strategic vision with tactical execution.
You understand the US and Canadian State, Province, and Local government markets, ideally understanding the DMV and identity use-cases required by these markets. And will be able to help build our go-to-market point of view for their business, and work collaboratively with our Product, Delivery, Marketing, and other stakeholder teams to align and drive action.
This role will manage a team of Sales and BD individual contributors geographically distributed across North America, and must have an ability to travel to meet customer and internal demands.
This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Key Responsibilities
Deliver on Booking and Revenue objectives – Provide consistent, clear forecasting, managing the team to achieve team and individual targets.
Manage customer and partner relationships – Act as an executive sponsor to our accounts, supporting the Sales team members and customers, in order to drive mutually beneficial business results.
Utilize internal resources effectively – Proactively engage our Product, Solution Engineering, Bid Management, Legal, and other teams to drive successful outcomes.
Successfully lead and coach strategic capture efforts – Drive timely and comprehensive capture process in order to shape and win competitive procurements.
Grow our people – Identify, attract, train, and grow top talent to excel as Sales individual contributors and beyond within Thales.
Minimum Qualifications
College degree, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of Field Sales experience in high tech and/or professional services industries.
5+ years of Sales Leadership experience, including managing team quotas, hiring/developing talent, supporting accounts as executive sponsor for the business, and representing team performance to management.
5+ years of Public Sector experience in US State Governments and Canadian Provincial Governments.
Financial and business acumen: accustomed to developing budgets, profit and loss, and forecasting for the business.
Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration.
Prior experience presenting to senior leadership as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of the DMV business, processes, technologies, competition, and partner community.
