Title and Summary

Director, Sales, Enterprise Gateway Solutions

Mastercard Enterprise Gateway Solutions (EGS) provides seamless connectivity for customers of all types into our Payment Processing and Decisioning products. Assets formerly known as the Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), Direct Services Access (DSA), Networks Exchange (NEX), and Private Label Card Programs are now consolidated under a single Gateway portfolio.

This BD & Commercialization team will be the primary sales muscle for this newly formed organization and responsible for driving new business to the Gateway as well as growing existing accounts. They will work in close partnership with Regional teams to identify new leads, initiate customer contact, and build strong deal structures for clients.

The selected candidate for this role:
•\tSeeks out and initiates contact with new customers for our Gateway suite of products
•\tDevelop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve the Revenue targets and Market share expansion
•\tConsistently refreshes the sales pipeline on SFDC, maintains customer contact, and closes deals regularly
•\tWorks closely with Account Management and Market Development teams in a highly competitive consultative selling environment and generates incremental revenue from existing clients
•\tMonitors opportunities and regularly keeps leadership apprised of progress and help needed
•\tProvides technical support by identifying and resolving customer challenges and escalating to senior colleagues as required
•\tLead and participate in Sales presentations, RFP responses, Business case development, Proposals and Contract Management with effective negotiation skills
•\tCoordinates transitions between sales and implementation teams
•\tBrings the voice of the market back to the implementation team to ensure customer relationship needs are metProvides subject matter expertise on a specific product or segment of products and identifies product innovation opportunities
•\tDevelop a strong understanding of customer needs, customers’ product strategy, region conditions, and industry characteristics as they relate to products and platforms offerings


Experiences:
•\tStrong knowledge of payment gateways and payment processing; knowledge of fraud & decisioning products a plus
•\tStrong knowledge of the local payment ecosystem and key players in market
•\tExtensive experience in a sales/commercial environment including direct interaction with customers
•\tDemonstrated expertise and success in achieving sales goals over multiple years and multiple products
•\tStrong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders
•\tStrategic and Creative mindset, with ability to build win-win deals across multiple parties
•\tAbility to travel up to 30% of the time
