Director, Sales Engineer - Women's Health

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to direct our Sales Engineering organization, including Sales Engineering and Sales Applications teams, across all business lines. In this critical role, you will partner closely with sales leadership to drive alignment, operational excellence, and innovative solutions that support our growth objectives. You will lead high-performing teams, develop new strategies to address complex challenges, and translate business goals into actionable plans to ensure measurable success.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as a key partner to senior leadership, executives, and major customers, fostering collaboration and negotiating solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Drive strategic planning and execution, ensuring operational effectiveness across multiple departments.

Guide the development and implementation of functional plans that support sales goals, while reconciling diverse stakeholder perspectives to achieve business results.

Participate in high-level strategic planning with sales leadership, contributing to both long-term vision and tactical initiatives.

Oversee budgetary accountability for multiple departments, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet business priorities.

Develop policies and processes to optimize team performance and ensure alignment with company directives.

Perform other leadership responsibilities as needed to drive organizational success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree; 8+ years with an advanced degree.

Proven expertise in enterprise sales methodologies and strategies.

Strong understanding of health system operations and workflows.

Significant experience working with EMR systems such as Epic, Athena, or similar platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.

Executive-level communication and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Solid understanding of software engineering principles and project implementation methodologies.

Experience with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance protocols.

Working knowledge of genetic testing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and bioinformatics.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and industry compliance standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Role is primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork.

Ability to work on a computer, communicate effectively, and read printed materials.

Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and team engagements.
