The Strategic Partnerships team plays a critical role in the successful achievement of Snap’s revenue goals. Establishing and nurturing key partnerships that comprise our largest 100 partners paves the way for other Snap GTM organizations to execute on our strategies. Collaborating across functions including Sales, Product, Engineering and the CEO’s office illustrates the unique role this organization plays in driving top and bottom line outcomes for Snap, inc.
We're looking for a Vice President, Strategic Partnerships to join our team. You will inspire and lead the teams responsible for driving key strategic partnerships and strategies. In this role, you will not only be heavily externally facing but you will also engage in a high degree of internal collaboration. You will collaborate with leaders & teams across Snap, including peers focused on top of the funnel business development efforts, as well product and engineering leadership. Your top priority will be to cultivate close partnerships internally and externally that lead to win-win relationships with our most important strategic partners.
What you'll do:
Own and develop key strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing mutual benefits
Foster existing partnerships and cultivate new ones, focusing on long-term growth and success
Lead negotiations and manage the execution of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets
Act as a trusted advisor to our c-suite, understanding partner needs and identifying opportunities for collaboration and joint partnership projects
Elevate the organizational impact and operational efficiency of the Partnerships organization, with a particular focus on internal alignment, and operational rigor.
Develop organizational-level goals and drive partnership commitments in concert with cross functional teams within Snap.
Build, mentor and grow a team of senior leaders and senior independent contributors.
Influence key decisions and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Iterate quickly without compromising quality and raise the bar on operational excellence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to collaborate strategically with all facets of an organization from C-Level to top of funnel operators, engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams
Ability to inspire and be an effective mentor to direct reports and cross functional teams
Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically
Ability to initiate and drive emerging projects from strategy to completion
Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively across a matrix organization
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and illustrate passion for taking our partnership model to the next level
A seasoned strategic leader and globally-minded thinker
A passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving!
Minimum qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent experience
15+ years of Partnerships, Business Development, Strategy or Corporate Development experience in the technology sector
10+ years experience growing, developing and leading global teams based in multiple countries
7+ years of experience leading a team in a corporate setting
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Juris Doctorate, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience managing complex corporate partnerships in the Technology sector
Demonstrated ability to build win-win partnerships with third parties of various levels of relative scale
Previous experience partnering with cross-functional executives and management across a globally distributed organization
Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $294,000-$441,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $279,000-$419,000 annually.Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $250,000-$375,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
