A successful Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) Director of Sales Operations & Transformation candidate is a results oriented, strategic thinker that will lead KDP Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Operations Execution and Transformation initiatives, encompassing KDP’s DSD brand portfolio at Walmart. The Director will serve as a key member of the KDP Walmart Leadership Team who contributes to the overall strategic direction of KDP brands and team members. This role demands a collaborative thinker with strong business planning and strategic selling, as well as excellent communication skills. Ultimately, this leadership role owns team results on volume, revenue, and profit by owning the connection point between the National Retail Sales Team and our DSD Route to Market partners. This individual consistently demonstrates KDP values and competencies, builds a high-trust and high-performing culture. Critical also to the success of this role is the partnership they must create with the broader organization.
The ideal can be based at our sales office in Rogers, AR or at HQ in Frisco, TX
What you will do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver top-notch execution and achieve operational excellenceDrive decision-making that will lead to enhancements and process improvementsThis individual sets strategic direction & vision for the team focused on operational excellence & effectiveness, creating proactive solutions to achieve display execution goals, day one minute one innovation launches, & customer OPD metricsCollaboration/Alignment with Key Stakeholders including NRS Sales, DSD Sales Operators, Supply Chain, and Headquarter Commercial teams to implement and achieve initiatives aligned with our Walmart DSD annual business planDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including KDP Cross-functional partners and Walmart HQ & Field Operations LeadersDrive the evolution of KDP’s DSD Transformation initiatives, ensuring KDP is in lockstep with Retailer’s End to End Transformation Roadmap Monitor execution results, market trends, and adapt strategies to achieve KDP’s strategic growth imperativesServe as the Centralized Hub for all communication from the KDP Walmart Team to KDP DSD Field OperationsManage and mentor a team of Sales Operations professionals, fostering a culture of customer obsession, inclusion, agility, and learning Grow Employee Engagement & Inclusion Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred10+ years of leadership experience in positions of increasing responsibilityStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teamsCommitment to the company's values and competencies, including a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and operational excellenceData Analytics & Strategic Insights- Leverage relevant external insights (industry, competitors, category, brand, channel, consumer, and account) to develop a strategic agenda that drives focus, results, & share growth behind the KDP portfolio strategyProject Management – executing a project from start to finish ability to communicate long-term vision and shorter-term opportunities through clear & simple messagesJudgment - Ability to proactively identify business opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to address business needs.
