How you will make an impact:

Create and implement BU Sales Training Strategy and governance model ensuring compliance with all training and regulatory body standardsSupport the professional development of the individuals on the team through coaching, educational/development resources, and general leadership. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the departmentLead in the development and implementation of various training programs and tools for BU sales team trainingIdentify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of broad and more complex sales training strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties. Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teamsServe as the clinical and BU subject matter expert to develop training in support of sales team’s broad adoption of procedural and clinical best practicesProvide leadership for key initiatives in the development, execution and continual improvement of training programs including increase market understanding and educate on new therapiesPlan and direct complex activities with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverablesMeasure effectiveness of programs through post-meeting survey instruments, field feedback and stakeholder review, develop plan to address concerns, and lead the implementation of solutions

What you will need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years related experience OR Master's Degree and 10 years related experienceRelated experience in sales, marketing, healthcare industry or medical device industryAbility to travel up to 40%


What else we look for (Preferred):

Prior experience with instructional design and developing clinical/technical contentProven successful project management skillsPrior successful experience as a trainer in clinical and/or sales roleExperience working in a large manufacturing companyDemonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement training and field adoption strategies, convert these into tactical roll-out plans and deliver results with a specific emphasis on market strategy and new product launchesExcellent facilitation and presentation skills

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced).
