As Director, Salesforce Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of Salesforce solutions ensuring seamless integration with other systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product owners, software engineers, data scientists, and organizational leaders—to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. This role will champion Salesforce best practices, guide technical teams, and influence the long-term technology strategy to meet 84.51˚’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
Design and review Salesforce solutions and architecture that align with 84.51˚’s business goals and technical strategy, ensuring scalability and performance. Define and enforce Salesforce governance, best practices, and coding standards across the organization. Lead and mentor technical teams, analyzing trade-offs, and making decisions to deliver optimal solutions. Assess the current state of Salesforce implementations and create a roadmap for future enhancements that align with 84.51˚ objectives. Partner with Data Scientists, Engineers, Experience Design, and Product teams to ensure the platform strategy delivers against requirements, scope, and timelines. Communicate technical concepts and strategic visions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership teams. Research and evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies to accelerate solution delivery and drive innovation. Collaborate with the security team to ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to best practices and organizational security standards. Identify opportunities to shape 84.51˚’s long-term technology strategy, with a focus on Salesforce and its ecosystem.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a field related to software development, technology, or engineering. 8+ years of experience in engineering organizations, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership role. Deep expertise in Salesforce platform development, including: Salesforce architecture and data modeling System integration and API development DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and system design principles. Proven ability to evaluate trade-offs, conduct build-vs-buy analyses, and make strategic technical decisions. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders. High level of independence and the ability to make time-sensitive decisions rapidly. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Ad tech, Mar tech, retail, or media industries. Background in technology consulting or strategy. Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
