The Director, Security Operations is responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity operations program, including both defensive and offensive functions. This role involves monitoring, threat mitigation, incident response capabilities, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and contributing to the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures. Responsibilities ·       Oversee the cybersecurity operations program, including monitoring, threat mitigation, and incident response capabilities. ·       Lead and manage both defensive and offensive cybersecurity operations including monitoring, threat mitigation, and incident response as well as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat hunting. ·       Drive automation and orchestration of security operations to optimize response times and reduce manual processes. ·       Collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations. ·       Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the company's defenses are current and effective. ·       Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors, government agencies, and industry groups, to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture. ·       Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the cybersecurity operations program. ·       Provide executive-level reporting on security incidents, threat trends, and operational metrics, with recommendations for continuous improvement.
