Director, Selling/POS Analytics, North America
**Description** The key function of this role is lead as COE ambassador for strategic drivers of Selling-related categories and KPIs that can be used to provide direction to leaders to make regional selling-related and employee cost decisions across the region/brands. The Director Selling / POS Analytics, North America will provide brand partners in-depth analyses of key benchmarks within demonstration to drive retail sales and efficiencies within costs while leading budget forecasting across selling driving insights/results. This role will identify opportunities to transform analysis and processes partnering with stakeholders across the region. Responsibilities: Strategic Analysis • Challenge the status quo and seek continuous incremental improvements on existing processes to help drive more efficient and accurate analysis for the region. • Initiate and direct strategic projects with cross-functional partners that that focus on streamlining and improving processes to increase efficiencies, reporting accuracy, and capabilities. • Drive analytics on productivity and/or FTE management to help drive retail sales and efficiencies working in collaboration with key business partners. • Align with Channel leads on budget assumptions and KPIs for major key account costs and FTE at a door level. Collaboration • Lead as a Center of Excellence (COE) Ambassador for the NA Region to support regional brand leadership (GMs, Account Management) to understand key driving analytics related to selling-related categories and KPIs oversee all regional leads in the COE roll-out. Provide region level analysis and support global objectives as applicable to the brand. • Develop and mentor a current team of 4 full-time employee to support strategic priorities within Brands driving strategic finance thinkers and leaders, holding high standards on accuracy and timeliness at all times. Financial Planning & Forecasting • Generate month-end reports, including variance analysis, highlighting Retailer-specific variances, FTE over/under usage, and provide insights identifying potential Risk/Opportunities to brand partners. • Align with Brand Finance partners on estimate expectations and provide recommendations on future cost outlooks. • Prepare and deliver estimate reporting and corporate submission requirements, recapping agreed upon actions and follow ups. Performance Monitoring & Reporting • Provide business partners with specific commentary and details surrounding actual spend reports; identify outliers, risks/opportunities for efficiencies. • Investigate unresolved variances from actual close results working with appropriate stakeholders, analyzing journal entries, and providing insights to brand partners/stakeholders. • Establish streamlined reporting working with OneSource on door level FTE, retail sales and productivity information to enable redeployment of workload to analytics from report building **Qualifications** + Qualifications:• 8+ years of financial planning and analysis experience• Experience working in fast-pace commercial environments, leveraging strong business acumen and decision-making skills • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills (advanced expertise in Excel) • Strong planning and project management capabilities; ability to prioritize effectively • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (verbal, written and visual).
