Your Impact

Services Sales is a critical driving force of our customers success. Our Services Sales Specialist organization leads the way in growing Cisco relevancy with our customers and turning our customers technology investments into outcomes delivered.  We are seeking a Director of Services Sales responsible for leading a large Services Sales Specialist team in one of the company’s largest services businesses.

We work with our customers to transform their businesses with our engineering talent and the professional services we provide. 

As the Director of Services Sales (leader of leaders) you will use innovative thinking and strategic planning to grow our market share with our most complex and dynamic customers. 

You’ll be at the forefront of capturing Cisco’s massive opportunity driven by AI adoption, broadband expansion, gaming and media entertainment. You will be responsible for owning and growing a $500M+ services and support revenue business by leading a ~25-person sales specialist organization in ASP.

Responsibilities include:

Lead a sales organization by developing strategies and plans to drive services bookings growth, account penetration, technology adoption, customer satisfaction and business outcomes with professional and advanced services across a diverse and geographically distributed based set of accounts. Maintain and recruit a highly effective sales leadership team by providing ongoing coaching, guidance, development, and feedback. Ensure sales targets are consistently met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Drive operational excellence by managing accurate sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Ensure a strong interlock with Portfolio Sales, Business Units, Cisco’s partners and other key stakeholders to meet the needs of customers and Cisco. Develop and maintain direct relationships with key strategic customers. Manage compensation, reward & recognition and career development for the team. Build and maintain cross functional executive relationships within Cisco.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of Technology Sales Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Services Sales and Service Provider domain experience are strongly preferred. Must have an extensive track record of sales leadership excellence in a large complex account’s territory.Outstanding communication skills Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals. Excellent command of financial metrics and sales operations.Influential leader who can help others connect the dots quickly and accelerate decisions. A confident and authentic leader.  Depth and breadth of applied judgment, agile decision maker, demonstrated operational excellence. A strategic, independent problem solver and able to communicate effectively and influence cross-functionally.
