The Director, Social Media will lead our social media strategy, execution, and growth across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, audience engagement strategies, and analytics to maximize organic reach and brand impact. This role requires a creative thinker, a data-driven strategist, and an inspiring leader who can drive organic growth while maintaining our brand voice and values.
This Hybrid role requires in-person work at our Newton, MA headquarters.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy at both the national and local level
Work with regional teams to develop effective strategies and processes to drive an engaging social presence at the center level
Identify opportunities for audience growth, engagement, and platform expansion.
Stay ahead of trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm updates to adapt strategies.
Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to produce high-quality, engaging, and on- brand social media content.
Lead content calendars, ensuring a consistent posting schedule across all platforms.
Track, measure, and analyze the performance of organic social media campaigns using key metrics.
Provide actionable insights to optimize engagement, follower growth, and overall performance.
Deliver regular reports to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.
Monitor and refine content to meet performance goals, leveraging real-time analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Required
Master's Degree Preferred
8 years of experience in social media required
3 years in a leadership role required
Proven success in driving organic growth and engagement on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, tools, and best practices.
Experience leading and inspiring teams, as well as collaborating cross-functionally.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with social media analytics platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Google Analytics).
Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.
A creative mindset with the ability to balance big-picture vision and detail-oriented execution.

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $120,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
This position is also eligible for 10% bonus plan and RSUs.
